I wish they proposed embedded video codes, but the ZIP files are very good : high-quality pics, description, trailers. They offer hundreds of good banners too.

Men.com is the mother site, which contains all available videos. There are 4 men.com network sites to fit your niche needs : Big Dick at School (Big dick niche), Drill my hole, the Gay Office (Suit niche), Str8 to gay (str8 niche).

They have 4 excellent gay sites : boundgods (domination), boundinpublic (same thing but in public, with many gang-bangs), NakedKombat (very hot wrestling, the winner takes it all !), Butt Machine Boys (Men fucked hard by machines).

The promo material is just ok. You can get anything but embedded video codes. They have a section with video codes but it has never been updated since the release. Pictures are very good and they will draw visitors to your their sites like magnets.

Promote these sites and you want regret it. Bounginpublic is the best one, because it’s very kinky and unique. They work with porn stars like Phenix Saint, Christian Wilde, John Magnum, Micah Andrews, Trent Diesel, Alexsander Freitas, Shane Frost, Alessio Romero, just to name a few.

Their new site is not a dom site, more an amateur one, with casual encounters. Two boys cruise in Prague and offer money to random guys to have sex on tape. so it belongs to the amateur/str8 niche. The concept is already used by sites like outinpublic , but as czech actors are not really know, visitors can’t easily say if it’s fake or not. The free preview is quite hot, so I’ll probably give it a try, even if the content is quite poor and limited to images. Another bad point, they use CCBILL as their affiliate processor.

All their sites are bareback ones, just to let you know !

Revshare obviously looks better in an ideal world. Getting money as long as the membership is renewed is great. BUT sometimes the customers don’t renew the membership, and you have to take that into consideration. 60% of a 3.95$ trial membership that is not renewed is not much, while getting a 35$ PPS commission for the same signup is far better !

The choice depends on the quality of the site you promote. Some sites are very good at making customers happy, and the laters won’t unsubscribe. Some other sites are lame and boring  and customers usually leave and don’t renew. You don’t want a revshare option with them.

My advice is to always try revhare first, when available. Give it a try for a few months, and check the renewal ratio. If it’s bad, switch to the PPS option immediately !

Some sites have a  1$ trial, with a 30$ PPS for the webmaster. That may look like a good deal for you, because many visitors will spend 1$ to try the site, and you’ll get 30$ each time. But this usually means that the convert ratio is good, because poor content sites don’t offer that option. If most of the customers unsubscribe, they’d lose money if they pay you 30$ for a 1$ signup.

Now, is it a good idea to send your visitors to sites that have a bad content ? I don’t think so, because we don’t want visitors to think that they pay for crap, when they can download good content illegally, for free. So as far as I’m concerned, I always try to send my visitors to high-quality sites, with revshare programs.

The programs I prefer are LucasPays, BelAmi, GunzBlazing, BuddyProfits. I use only Revshare with them, and my commissions are growing every month !

That may seem a good news, because the Hot House cash affiliate program was very bad : poor material, no videos, just images zips and pic galleries. But i’m not sure Steven Scarborough, President and founder of Hot House, made the good choice.

I wish he had chosen Gunzblazing, not Buddy Profits. GunzBlazing makes things easy, Buddy Profits complicate things. The buddyprofits affiliate platform is a  maze.  Try simply to find a zip with images, along with the code to embed the videos for a particular Hot House update, and you’ll probably get a headache. They even forgot to add the Hot House actor names in the database, so you just can’t find a particular scene. That’s crazy. 95% of webmasters are just happy with an zip with pics, embedding code and description. Why can’t buddyprofits just provide us with such simple things.

On the contrary, they just want us to have a bad experience. When a new update is released, you get a zip via the newsletter, but  the codes to embed videos, usually available in the affiliate area, are never ready. You always have to wait a few day to get the codes. Is it so difficult to have everything ready in the same time ?

They don’t ever have a decent support. I contacted them several times to express my disappointment and never got an answer.

Some months, Falcon joined BuddyProfits too. I remember I could get codes to embed videos from the former Falcon affiliate area. Since they joined Buddyprofits, I’ve never been able to get codes to embed falcon videos. Is this an improvement ?

Edit January 2012.  BuddyProfits program got improved. It’s still a pain in the ass to retrieve the content, but now video codes are available when you get the the newsletter.

As an affiliate, i really think commercial porn sites have to protect their movies, because people have to pay for the content. Producers face a lot of expenses to make their movies, and if people get movies for free, it will lead producers to bankrupt. As affiliation is concerned, I prefer of course to send to the paysite a visitor that will pay for the scene he wants, rather than dowloading it illegally.

But the way Corbin Fisher is dealing with piracy is wrong. As the story tells, they get IPs of the torrents users, and then sue the owner of the internet account. The danger is outing of young gays in the closet. Is it right for a gay porn company to out young gays ? Of course not.

Other ways to struggle against piracy exist. It’s easy to protect movies from being dowloaded. When i had a paysite, my hosting company provided me with an expensive movie protection system. None of my movie has never been found on a torrent site. Of course, it’s impossible to protect DVDs from being divx encoded and sent to torrent sites. But protecting VOD movies from being downloaded is a first step. Of course it costs money, while suing brings money.

So what’s next ? As far as I’m concerned,  I decided to stop promoting Corbin Fisher.

Collages

When I decided to add collages to some of my blogs, i checked which sponsors have ready-to-use collages. There are very few. Buddyprofits sends very nice ones along with their newsletters. Bonobocash has nice ones in the promo area. That’s it. Flamingo Buck gives a colage too but the width is too small : 291px. I asked them to make a 600px one, with no avail.

So most of the time, you’ll have to do it yourself !

It was quite difficult to me to find a software to make one. Here are the two softwares i found to help you to make your porn collages. The first one is dedicated to webmasters who like to make nice collages, with many effects. I’m not one of them :) I really think visitors don’t care about the design of a collage. I think they want porn, not drop shadows, nice logos or flashy colors. And as I try to make my posts as quick as possible. I prefer a simple collage made in 10 secs, that a beautifull one made in 5 minutes. Time is money.

Photoshop Elements

If you want to spend time and money to make a beautifull collage, you can use Photoshop Elements. It’s supposed to be a software dedicated to anybody, with no particular skills. I think it’s a very complicated one, and i wasted a long time finding how to make custom collages. As may adobe sofwares, it requires 10 Nasa computers to run smoothly. I never used a software that needed so many ressources. Very low to launch, ans using it is a pain in the ass.

So in order to create a collage, make a new empty file, and then go to the right menu : Edition / Content / Frames. Choose a frame model, then drag and drop it to your document. Click right to change options. You can now add pictures to that frame. I couldn’t find a way to block the frames. When I block the frame layer, I’m unable to add pictures anymore. So my frames move all the time. Because it’s quite difficult to know if you select the picture in the frame, or the frame itself.

If you decide to use this bad software, probably usefull if you can afford a « How to use Photoshop Elements » course at the university,  you’ll have to pay 100 bucks. I really think you can do a better a quicker job with any photo edition software. Even photoshop is simplier to use.

Irfanview

Now the best part. If you just want a sofware that just merges pictures together, I have a winner. Its name is Irfanview. (http://www.irfanview.com/)

It’s a simple, FREE, ugly software. But it is very ressourcefull.

Once you installed it, you can create your porn collage with just one click. Go to image / Create panorama image. Now you can select vertical or horizontal, select a border and a border color, and drag and drop your files in the box. Press Create Image.

I suggest you install the RIOT free plugin to activate the « save for web » option. Go then to options to select « Ask to resize on open images larger than « 1″ Mega, so that the plugin always proposes you to resize your pictures before saving.

If you want to make a smaller file, you can gather two pictures in an horizontal collage and include it later in a vertical collage.

This great software is not just a photo collage one. It offers great features as Batch Conversion/Rename tool, very usefull to batch process pictures provides by sponsors.
